Welcome to the Doug’s One Spice family. One Spice is a mixture of herbs and spices designed to be the only seasoning required when cooking meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, sauces, etc.

Doug Neufeld was inspired to create the One Spice food seasoning, when his daughter moved away from home to attend university. She wanted to know how to prepare meals that would have the same great taste as the meals that mom and dad had prepared for her at home.

In response to her request, Doug set out to create a single mixture of spices and herbs that would simplify the meal preparation process and Doug’s One Spice was born.

Pretty soon friends and neighbors began sampling Doug’s One Spice at barbeques and dinner parties and unanimously agreed that food prepared with One Spice was simply the best they had ever tasted.

In the years that followed, Doug experimented with other spice combinations and created the Italian One Spice and the Cajun One Spice.

The Italian One Spice is not only excellent in Italian dishes, but can also be used on everything from meats to poultry stuffing as it imparts a traditional herb flavor.

The Cajun One Spice, was developed to add a little spicy kick to mealtime. It not only goes great in Creoles and Jambalayas but imparts a spicy taste to Quesadillas, Tacos and Chili.

Doug is an avid fisherman, so it was natural for him to create a fish seasoning and coating mix. Doug’s Fish Mix is a simple and easy way to prepare fish for pan frying or deep frying.

Finally Doug decided that he needed to tackle the everyday hamburger. So Doug created Doug’s Burger Mix. Simply add it to ground beef, chicken or turkey and start cooking. Your burgers will make you the envy of the neighborhood.

All spices and products have been made only from the most natural of ingredients, and contain no fillers. The Original One Spice, Cajun One Spice and Italian One Spice are MSG free, Allergen free and Gluten free. Doug’s Fish Mix and Burger Mix are MSG free.

Doug and his wife Mary have supplied a few of their favorite recipes to demonstrate the versatility of the One Spice Family of products. Simply sprinkle your favorite One Spice on meat, fish, vegetables, poultry, etc. to create a delicious meal.
